Summary:
The regeneration works undertaken comprised the demolition of the former single-storey Care Home know as ‘Crowmoor House’, which was located at Frith Close, Crowmoor in Shrewsbury.
Asbestos material was prevalent within the existing building and was carefully removed prior to the commencement of demolition works.
The replacement development comprised the construction of 33 one and two-storey dwellings comprising 12 affordable and 21 private ownership dwellings, together with associated siteworks and drainage.
Site clearance commenced in January 2021 and the final dwellings were completed in May 2022.
Metrics were engaged as ‘CDM Principal Designer’ for the project.
